Ichneumonidae ? 02

Postby gbooth on 20 Aug 2008, 10:55

Here is another one. Shot in the same place. Dílar, Sierra Nevada. 1800 masl.
Meanwhile, what do I have to do to load the photo in the gallery of HymIS? I could not find the way to do it.
Thanks,

Guillermo

I have a problem here, Valemberg tells me male of Exephanes me, I have the impression of Cryptinae, antennas fine and long, the shape of the petiole, rather triangular head, the color of the legs and the size point out to me the kind Cryptus s.l. for example Cryptus (Buathra) laborator!
That will undoubtedly remain a enigma!

Thanks Thirion.
I will look tonight at home to see if I have another shot of this one that could help the ID.
For some strange reason I do not have these files in my office.

A photograph of the former wing!
You do not have the animal in collection?

Hi Thirion,

Unfortunatelly I only managed to make one shot of this one. I revised the photos yesterday.
I never collect any specimen, furthermore, I guess that to collect specimens in Sierra Nevada National Park you probably need a special permit.
It will have to rest undetermined.

Thanks,

Guillermo

Male Cryptinae probably Meringopus bus on this difficult stereotype the whole of the visible colours seems to correspond but I do not have either cuts it. I do not have either the artist. ¶Sending towards the 22.08.2008. Could be Meringopus calescens though on this stereotype, one does not see a normal excavation of the lower apex of the femurs III.
