cf. Banchinae

Postby StijnS on 13 Jan 2009, 22:58

On June 30th, 2008, I found this wasp in the eastern part of the Netherlands (Gelderland). Does someone know which species it is? I thought it may be a Dolichomitus species.

Thanks in advance,
Stijn Schreven.

What I can say is that it is not a Pimplinae...

Below is a better-quality picture. Perhaps someone can say something more about this species now.

Greetings,
Stijn.
