In view of my previous post on Polistes, I don't expect this to be IDed; but at least I want to give it a chance....

Turkey, near Silifke; 28 May 2008. Wet spot in dry bedding, ca 1000 m altitude.

Need to see face nd also last sternum. P. associus or nimpha, probably. Back to Eumenes vs. Katamenes: thi first picture was not clear for me, the two last are Katamenes, as Christian has posted. More species in Turkey. Libor
