Wasp determination

Postby Julia on 10 Jan 2009, 18:38

My name is Julia Stigenberg
I am soon to become a PhD student at Stockholm University in Sweden. My interest lies within Euphorinae (Braconidae).
During two summers I have worked within a project called the Swedish Malaise Trap Project, Sorting all insecta material to order and then Hymenoptera to families, Braconidae to subfamilies and then Meteorini to species. The genera Meteorus and Zele is my speciality..
It is a very exciting project, lots of new species are already discovered for Sweden and more are to come!

Best regards

Hi Julia, I can identify all Vespidae. Primarily Vespinae and Polisinae, but also Eumeninae.
Do you have an interest?

I could help with other aculeate wasp families except bees and ants, but i guess the Aculeata are not such a problem. I'm also doing Chalcididae s.str. if there is any of those in there...
Well if u still need specialists let us know the groups then we can check...
Cheers
