A new book is out titled: Jiangli Tan, Kees Van Achterberg, & Xuexin Chen (2015) Potentially Lethal Social Wasps: Fauna Of The Chinese Vespinae (Hymenoptera; Vespidae). This book (while entierly in Chinese) has excellent pictorial keys to the all The Chinese Vespidae Genera including: Eumenidae, Polistinae, and Vespinae (Provespa, Vespa, Dolichovespula, Vespula) and covers the biology, health risks, and economic importance and impact in China. Little is known about Chinese Vespinae so this book is the first of its kind with updated nomenclature and well researched data. According to the authors there are plans for an english edition which I would love to see!!!!!!!
Here is a link to the first 6 pages of the book to give everyone a feel for the material: http://www.academia.edu/10010267/Tan_et ... _Vespidae_
