Hymenoptera ID help

Postby Miraxus on 03 May 2015, 10:29

Found on 2nd May 2015 in an oak tree forest near Hradec Kralove (approx. 250 m a.s.l.) in the Czech Republic. Rapidly moving along the old leaves, no tendency to sit (sorry for the low quality of the Picture). Can anybody help with the identification?

I don't recognize it, but you may have some luck by reposting this photo on the Aculeate wasp page.

Hi Miraxus,

Bob is right, it's a bee, Nomada sp.
You might try to post it on the aculeate page, but Nomada usually is very difficult to determine.
