Small wasp, Germany

Small wasp, Germany

Postby Pristurus on 06 Dec 2014, 02:10

On 2014-06-26 I found a few of these small (I think 4-5mm sized) very active wasps in open and sandy areas near Darmstadt, Hesse. A short video is available here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:KW_-_2014-06-26.webm. Is it a species of Crabronidae?
Regards, Ingo

Thank you for the determination. And I have not expected to get the species level...
