This one ..was not at home, but on interior North of Portugal, Serra da Nogueira/Carrazedo, Trás-os-Montes, one of the places with higher biodiversity just about every thing.
And i don't have a clue! Except the family; at 2016/JUN/05

Re: TENTHREDINIDAE sp. [PORTUGAL]

Perhaps Tenthredo (T.) group mesomela [sp. mesomela , mioceras , obsoleta), but I dont known the sp. of Portugal.
Besides the coloring of the Mesopleuron separating these 3 species is maybe not valid for Portugal.
These 3 species were never captured in Portugal, but the fauna of this country is badly known.

Hi D & JP Balmer.
In fact, most probably, many are not known or dont' even have any data.
The Naturdata (portuguese data for collecting data/photos) has 12 sp. registred of that genus, 10 without photos. And probably many more are not known.
But from what i saw on 'Le monde des insectes', it looks like as that genus Tenthredo sp.;much similarities with 'mesomela';
with that i think i can admit the genus you said, even without 100% certainty.
I'll put the genus Tenthredo with cf. on the title.
Thank you very much.

Probably a specie of the group 'mesomela'; on Boletín de la Sociedad Entomológica Aragonesa (S.E.A.), nº 53, «Tenthredo (Eurogaster) mariae n. sp., from the Iberian Peninsula (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae: Tenthredininae)». Maybe ..; Thank you again for all the help. Carlos

Tenthredo (Eurogaster) mioceras ♀ because "Abdomen con la superficie dorsal negra, salvo los laterales, que son de color verde claro"

Wau!!! Thank you very much! I will look for that specie on the web.
In Biodiversidadvirtual.org of Spain is present! But is not on the set of the species registered on Naturdata; yet; but as you said ..many could exist and not yet collected or registered.
Thank you again for the description of this specie! And i'll change the title.
