Ichneumon albiger

Ichneumon albiger

Hello,

An Ichneumon found in North of France, Clairmarais, the 03 september 2017, feeding on Pastinaca sativa on the border of a sunny path, in a mainly deciduous forest
Maybe a female Ichneumon albiger ?
Size is around 10 mm without antenna I think, I can see 32 articles on the flagellum of the antenna, I think I don't see a scopa on hind coxa
But I don't know if Ichneumon albiger can have a reddish postpetiole ?

Greetings,

Thomas

Yes, I think it is Ichneumon albiger. Do you have photo of the face also (cf. fig. 584 in Perkins) ?

Thanks you very much for your reply, Geir !

Yes, I have a picture of the face but with a slight angle
I am not sure if it fit totally or not with the figure in Perkins ?

Face seems to fit (even if the angle is a little off). I. albiger according to the key in Hilpert. Scopa seems completely absent, the other details seems to match albiger, colour of the postpetiole could be a variation within the species?
