Ichneumonid reared from Poecilium glabratum > H. restaurator

Postby MathiasH on 19 Feb 2017, 18:37

A friend of mine reared this ichneumonid from juniper branches containing Poecilium glabratum (Cerambycidae) larvae. Can't find any information about parasitoids on this species. Collected in Denmark 2016. Is it possible to ID the species?
Update: Identified as Helcostizus restaurator by Gavin Broad

Another similar specimen was reared together with the above. Seems to be the same species.

Identified as Helcostizus restaurator by Gavin Broad :) . The determination was among other things based on the tooth-like tyloids on the antennae.
