Diphyus quadripunctorius in cave

Could this be Diphyus quadripunctorius? When I was looking for bats inside of mountain cave in january in South of Norway, there where hundreds of these inside, sitting together on the walls.

Thanks Gunnar! Seems to be a species that likes to spend winter in caves.

I should have liked to join you in that bat-cave!
Did you see only females? The males are quite different, with contrasting black and yellow colours.
Maybe it is only females making it through the winter?

Hint: You can edit your first and last posts, and remove the ?

Yes, I only found females in the cave, and no bats this time. I am familiar with the (very different) male from last time you helped me with this one:

It is not the first time that Diphyus quadripuctorius is found in a cave, look at this one:

Keller, M. 2010. Zur Überwinterung von Diphyus quadripunctorius MÜLLER, 1776, in einem Fledermauswinterquartier bei Osnabrück (Niedersachsen) (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae)
NachrBl. bayer. Ent. 59 (3/4): 93-95.

It's also a common guest inside the house, at least in Denmark. We have a lot of observations that it got trapped inside. nice to know that it's actually a cave overwinterer
