By the coast in South of Norway in august. Possible to ID?

It's a Exephanes sp. male. Species is likely E. occupator, but it is difficult to separate from E. venustus. See key and descriptions in Hinz&Horstmann: http://bionames.org/references/fca7abb0 ... ab353cbb74

What's the size of the insect?

Thanks Geir! Its about 13,6 mm from face to end of abdomen.

I would have identified it as Exephanes occupator (shape of temples and area superomedia matches with occupator I think, also size is above max. for venustus males).
