Due to circumstances beyond my control I was unable to get to Bulgaria last year so even more delighted that I was able to do so again this year. As always the flora and insects were superb. Among the aculeates that I noted was this small bee species found at Kirilova Pollyanna (c 1250 metres) on 21 July 2017.

I don't know if an identification is possible from these images but would be very grateful if anyone is able to suggest one.

Many thanks

Alan
